UGC NET, also known as University Grants Commission-National Entrance Test is conducted every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education on behalf of UGC.
The NET exam is conducted twice a year. It is a three-hour computer-based exam conducted to recruit deserving candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian colleges and universities.
