A pollen mother cell (PMC) is diploid (2n).= 24 Chromosome 

b)Chromosomes in each microspore after meiosis

Meiosis reduces the chromosome number to haploid (n). = 12 Chromosome 

c) Meiotic divisions required to produce 100 pollen grains

One pollen mother cell undergoes one meiosis and produces 4 microspores.

Number of PMCs required:

Each PMC undergoes one meiotic division.

Answer: 25

d) Total mitotic divisions for 100 mature male gametophytes

Each microspore undergoes:

1st mitotic division → vegetative cell + generative cell

2nd mitotic division of generative cell → 2 male gametes

So, 2 mitotic divisions per microspore.

For 100 microspores:

100×2= 200mitotic division

c) Number of meiotic divisions to produce 100 pollen grains:

• Each pollen mother cell undergoes meiosis → produces 4 microspores (pollen grains).

• To produce 100 pollen grains:

d) Total mitotic divisions for 100 mature male gametophytes:

Please don't feel that you have to start learning English all over again. You already have years of experience studying and teaching it. After being away from work for 12 years, it is natural to feel a little rusty and lose confidence.

Start slowly. Spend 15–20 minutes every day revising basic grammar and another 15 minutes speaking in English about your daily life. Read a little, listen to English conversations, and try explaining simple grammar topics aloud as if you are teaching a student.

Don't worry about making mistakes. With regular practice, your confidence will gradually come back. You already have the foundation—you just need to bring it back through practice.
