Ionization potential is the amount of energy required to remove an electron from an isolated gaseous atom, resulting in the formation of a positively charged ion. It is always an endothermic process, as energy must be supplied to overcome the attraction between the nucleus and the electron. In contrast, electron affinity is the energy change that occurs when an electron is added to an isolated gaseous atom to form a negatively charged ion. This process is usually exothermic, as energy is released when the atom gains an electron. Thus, ionization potential reflects the tendency of an atom to lose an electron, whereas electron affinity indicates the tendency of an atom to gain an electron.

Maximum amount of energy required to remove the most loosely bounded electron ( valence shell electron) from an isolated gaseous atom from its ground state, resulting in a cation is called ionisation energy.Ionisation energy is always endothermic ( energy is required ).Electron affinity is the amount of energy released when one mole of electrons will be added into valence shells of one mole isolated gaseous atoms to convert them into one mole mono-negative gaseous ions ( anions ).
Electron affinity (EA) = Energy released to add one electron

There isn’t a single fixed rule, it's totally dependent on the person if He/She is beginner then 20/30 minutes and if He/She is on advance level then 60/90 mins and there are some other factors that's totally depends on person goals and health conditions.
Consistency matters more than duration.
