We should spend atleast two lectures in teaching/finding applications of the particular subject or future scope or basically "why we are learning this subject?" and introducing scientists or peoples who had done great work in that field. Next step is Fundamental Concepts or Basics required to learn that particular subject. and after this we should start actual syllabus. I think it is important to solve MCQ not only for problematic but for theory subject also because, MCQ built our concepts and we can easily remember the important points in that subject which is also helpful as General Knowledge.
