He is the Senior Faculty Chef at Shri Shakti College of hotel Management, Hyderabad. Its a leading Hotel management institute attached with state of the art hotel The Manohar. He is part of the culinary brigade in the all-day Classes, and is responsible for all the culinary creations offered across the three years course in bakery and advance training kitchen. He also over sees the functioning of student and staff dining room at the college. He Specializes in Continental, Pastry & Bakery and Advanced Pastry & Confectionery Arts. Apart from Academics, handling the responsibility as In-charge for literary committee and simultaneously Editor for college annual magazine Vibgyor. Prior to joining SSCHM he was associated with Dr.Narayana College of Hotel Management, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has international exposure too in his kitty. He worked as Chef de Partie in CRUISES UK,for 2 yrs. Second in line for the cruise continental and Larder Kitchen. Monitoring adherence to safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards the by the staff.and to follow HACCP check list was top priority. He had a short stint as Junior Sous Chef at Britannia Daily Bread, Mumbai. Chef Padma Rao, is an Alumni of Culinary Academy of India ,Hyderabad, he started his career as Sous Chef in TAJ SATS Air Catering Limited, Mumbai sin July 2005 and continued to enrich his skills for 3 years there.
