Yes you can meditate in lying position also while focusing on breath with help of soo hmm sound inhale with the sound of soo exhale with the sound of hmm with the help of this you can breathe and control your thoughts process it's will also improve your sleeping pattern.

Yes you can practice meditation while laying down but if want to grow more and connect with spirituality sitting posture is more beneficial .
