If a student's goal is to appear for national-level competitive exams like JEE, NEET, or UPSC, then the CBSE board would be a better option as it follows a structured curriculum that is designed to prepare students for these exams.

Go for CBSE blindly... Just because you are preparing for JEE. You can count on it!! State boards are easy to crack but CBSE is central board in a way.. It prepared you for the entrance exams.. Go for CBSE blindly... Just because you are preparing for JEE. You can count on it!! State boards are easy to crack but CBSE is central board in a way.. It prepared you for the entrance exams.. If there is an option fo ISC I recommend to choose it only.. ISC are tougher as compared to CBSE. But offer advanced syllabus.. Coming back to your point choose CBSE. Don't doubt it. read less
