I am a Carnatic vocals music trainer, and I specialize kn customizing my teaching approach according to the needs of the students. I prefer to take one to one sessions with mu students so that they can reach their desired state very quickly. I understand needs of music students, and can help students get to reach a level where they are able to sing various songs/bhajans on their own within a few weeks of time. I have been training students in the USA for past 2 years, and have received overwhelming response for my teaching methodology. Here is my initiative to spread basics of Carnatic Vocal Music to larger number of enthusiasts, who are specifically interested in practical application of fundamentals in Carnatic music.

I am a Vocal Music tutor, specializing in Carnatic Classical music, with 6 years of teaching experience. My focus is on helping students build a strong foundation in classical vocal techniques, raga presentation, and performance skills, while fostering a deep appreciation for the art form. I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and a Master’s degree in Music, which have strengthened both my theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in Carnatic music. These academic qualifications allow me to provide structured and high-quality training to my students. My teaching journey began at our family-run music school in Hyderabad, which was founded and managed by my grandmother. Teaching there gave me the opportunity to train students of different age groups and skill levels, helping them develop both performance and conceptual understanding in Carnatic music. After the school was closed due to personal reasons, I continued my passion for teaching music through individual classes, aiming to preserve and pass on my grandmother’s legacy. Music is not just a subject for me—it is a way to connect, express, and inspire my students. I have also achieved academic excellence in music, securing 95 marks in Practical and 90 marks in Theory in my Master’s degree in Carnatic Music. This strong foundation enables me to train students for both performance and music examinations, ensuring they gain both skill and confidence. I conduct classes both online and offline, providing personalized guidance tailored to each student’s level and learning pace. My teaching methodology emphasizes interactive practice, raga understanding, voice modulation, and performance techniques to help students excel. My ultimate goal is to help students develop mastery in Carnatic vocal music, while also nurturing their love for this classical art form. I strive to make every lesson enjoyable, engaging, and focused on both skill-building and creative expression.

I have taught children hindi and music in school for more than 20 years. I have also taken music classes at home during this duration. I have performed couple of times in doordarshan and have regularly performed on stage. I am als o trained in reiki master, meridian healing and alpha mind meditation. I am experienced in reiki/meridian teaching and healing.
