Sourav Sengupta is a tabla player based out of Hyderabad. A student of Shri Narsing Rao ( AIR Hyderabad ) through his childhood, and Shri G Srikant Rao currently; he has forayed into teaching over the last 2 years. He takes a keen interest in studying percussion traditions from around the world and hence enjoys dabbling with other percussions such as the darbuka, djembe and cajon. Ustad Zakir Hussain, Giovani Hidalgo, Miles Davis and Paco de Lucia are some of his musical inspirations. When not playing tabla he enjoys watching Test cricket, badminton and reading history.

It was since ten years, rendering my servieces towards this art. Whenever iam going to teach a class as a part of this noble profession, i just try to represent ,interpret, summarize and rethink about the concept i wish to teach to my students. Since it is the fact that every teacher is a student of his time, i always consider my self as a student and build all my knowledge a bit stronger on the subject everytime and i sometimes try to spend my time practise along with my students so that i assure the placement of their hand and perfection of the timing(laya) in their playing.

Founder of the Dance school is Mrs Archana Misra, who herself is Kathak dancer and professional performaner. She has learnt the Kathak dance from very prominent gurus including Guru Nirupama and Guru Rajendra of Bangalore (Avinava Dance Studio). She has taken special coaching from Guru Birju Maharaj from the various dance workshop. Mrs Archana Misra has performed in several states for national/international dance programs.
