I am a Hindustani classical singer of the Patiala and Gwalior gharanas. It was during my childhood years that I was initiated into the world of classical music. Since then, I have learnt from various teachers, including senior disciples of music virtuosos such as the late Smt. Veena Sahasrabuddhe, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit V G Jog, and have performed in multiple venues in Kuwait, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and Toronto. After spending several years living in the Toronto area and learning from Ottawa-based music stalwart Dr Vinay Bhide, who learnt from a direct disciple of the renowned maestro Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, I am now settled in Hyderabad.

I have learnt Hindustani classical music under eminent gurus over last 12 years. I have an experience of tutoring over 30 students in music and facilitating them appearing for examination through the prestigious board of Bangiyo Sangeet Parishad! I have also performed on stages and have done playback singing in short films.

I have been training myself in carnatic vocal music for the last 12 years with teachers vasantha lakshmi garu, lata shankar garu, padma garu(professor in telugu university herself). I have been training in light music with K RAMACHARY garu for the last 11 years. I have been a part of almost 50 classical concerts for the last 4 years. I hold a DISTINCTION degree in carnatic vocal miss from potti sreeramulu telugu university. I hold 2 international records for the concerts I have been a part of 'NAVAGRAHA SANKEERTHANAALAPANA'. I was always interested in classical music right from childhood. I started getting trained and participated in classical music programmes and Mohotasavs in Pune. The course is divided into three stages, intermediate, basic and advanced levels of Hindustani music. After every class, I assign small tasks for the students to practice at home. I also make them rehearse to observe their growth. The notes for the theoretical portion are provided to the students. My classes are highly interactive. I encourage my students to discuss and share their opinions.
