I have experience in tabla from since last 12 years.

I am a tabla player. I keep playing regularly and have taught a bunch of friends and students. I have done my certification in Classical tabla music upto diploma and have a very friendly and encouraging approach to teaching.

I am an Engineer and have learnt Tabla since my 5th grade (Family tradition I guess and I got lucky). I started giving home tuition when I completed by Certificate exam in Tabla and ranked top 3rd in All India Tabla competition. Completed my Diploma course, thanks to my Guruji(Geedi Prakash). My key skills are classical and folk both 50-50, but I am more focused on Classical side. Giving Tabla programs at various places improved my confidence. Looking forward to see if my knowledge can be helpful to the ones I teach.

The Bansilal Badruka School of Music and Dance (BBSMD), affiliated to Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, which has emerged as a premier institute of Classical Hindustani Music and Dance was established in 2001, with the aim of promoting high professional skills in classical music and dance. It has also come up with a new branch at Banjara Hills. The school offers certificate courses in Hindustani Vocal, Tabla, Sitar, Guitar, Keyboard, Kathak Dance, and Bharatnatyam. Well qualified and experienced teachers impart training to the students adhering strictly to the norms prescribed by the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal and as per the ancient Guru Sishya Parampara. Classes are conducted throughout the year except for a short break of 15 days in summer and 8 days in December.

Vasavi College of Music & Dance, sponsored by Vasavi Academy of Education was established on June 18th 1996 on the birthday of late Sri Pendekanti Venkata Subbaiah, former Union Minister of State for Home affairs and Governor of Bihar & Karnataka and was also the Honorary patron in chief of Vasavi Academy of Education, to develop and popularize the Classical Music. The college is imparting training in Carnatic Vocal violin, Keyboard, Veena, Hindustani Vocal, Tabla, Harmonium & Keyboard besides the two Dance types of Kuchipudi & Bharathanatyam. The Principal & the staff are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields.
