With over twenty years of experience, my journey in music has been nothing short of remarkable. Passion has fueled my dedication to piano playing, making me a seasoned professional musician. My teaching adventure began eight years ago when I embarked on a path to inspire and guide students in the realm of music. I specialise in teaching piano to eighth-grade students, believing that music is not just a subject but a passion that deserves nurturing. While I hold a part-time position, my commitment to imparting knowledge knows no bounds. My expertise encompasses a broad spectrum. I adeptly teach piano and keyboard, primarily focusing on Western classical music. I use online platforms to engage with my students for one hour daily, delivering an enriching and interactive experience. Each course I offer spans three months, covering a comprehensive curriculum up to the eighth grade. The core of my teaching methodology revolves around practical applications, adhering to the esteemed ABRSM and Trinity-based syllabi. Music is best learned through practice and application, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject. With this approach, my students not only master the technicalities but also develop an intrinsic connection to the melodies they create. As an educator, I go the extra mile by providing video resources that delve into intricate music theory. Grasping the theoretical underpinnings of music enhances the overall learning experience. These video notes serve as supplementary aids, empowering my students to explore the nuances of music beyond the piano's keys. I strive to instil a lifelong appreciation for music, equipping my students with skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
