I am a passionate Carnatic classical vocal music trainer with over 5 years of teaching experience. I hold a Diploma in Carnatic Vocal Music, alongside a B Tech in Electronics Engineering. While my academic background is technical, my true calling has always been in music. After graduation, I chose to pursue teaching Carnatic music and began by training students in my hometown. So far, I have taught 12+ students individually, and currently work as a freelance music trainer, offering online and offline classes. I design my lessons based on the needs of each student, whether they are beginners or preparing for music certification exams. My focus is on vocal strength, understanding of ragas, and mastery of compositions. Apart from teaching, I am a district-level winner in Carnatic music and have performed annually in vocal music concerts. These experiences have enriched my understanding of stage presence, voice modulation, and improvisation — skills I actively pass on to my students. My classes are conducted in a practical, interactive manner, focusing on real-time feedback and vocal exercises. Weekend sessions typically last 2 hours, while regular sessions span 1 hour, ensuring deep engagement with both theory and practice. Students are trained not just to sing, but to understand the depth and discipline of Carnatic music. I also guide them through certification exams and music performance preparation, offering mentorship on voice culture, sruti alignment, and tala control.
