Is acoustic guitar easier than electric?

It's not that easy to practice on acoustic guitar as it takes more energy or power to play. In electric guitar, it takes less power or energy. But one thing.....if you are a beginner then you should start with acoustic guitar. If you can practice atleast around 1 hour then I will not a problem for you...

It's not that easy to practice on acoustic guitar as it takes more energy or power to play. In electric guitar, it takes less power or energy. But one thing.....if you are a beginner then you should start with acoustic guitar. If you can practice atleast around 1 hour then I will not a problem for you to grab things on acoustic guitar. Though if you are going for electric guitar you have to practice it as well around minimum same time. Learning on acoustic guitar is less in cost as compared to electric guitar because if you are going for electric guitar then you have to buy amplifier along with it and later on a processor.......which cost you minimum around 10k each but on other hand you just need acoustic guitar and your practice..... read less

5 year experience on music and teach.. I have performed on many platforms before...

Acoustic guitars are often considered harder to learn. This is due to the strings being heavier and the height of the strings being higher than standard electric guitars. You only really notice this for the first few months of playing, after this your fingers adjust and become stronger.
