Electron

• An electron is a tiny negatively charged particle inside an atom.

• When electrons move through a wire, they create electric current.

Electricity

• Electricity is the flow of electrons through a conductor (like copper wire).

• It is used to run devices such as lights, fans, and mobiles.

Power vs. Energy 

• Power → How fast electricity is used (measured in watt)

• Energy → How much electricity is used (measured in kWh / unit)

👉 Power is speed of using electricity; Energy is the total electricity used.

In current electricity, if we consider a closed circuit, electron is the negatively charged particle which originates from the negative terminal of the battery travels through the circuit and reaches the positive terminal. We call this process electron current.

When positive charge moves from positive terminal to negative terminal, it is called conventional current or simply current. 

Energy is the ability to do work. 

The rate of workdone is called power.
