Simply means we need to go step by step. You are starting from the body preparation. Without your body/physical balance, you may find it difficult or feel it may not work. Now yoga market its become a trend. If you look at our tradition, the teacher decides your eligibility to learn meditation. So guru is most important to learn advanced practices.
