Don't strain your voice much, singing with an open voice and loudly is different and shouting and singing is different. Constant practice and good teacher can help you .

Vocal music Trainer with 13 years of experience in teaching along with Harmonium and Keyboard

Try to practice from your belly not your throat. Don't strain your voice much. Otherwise it will be very harmful for your vocal cords. Do breathing practice. Early morning is the best time for reyaj. Contact a learned teacher who will teach you properly. Keeping practice.
