I know where a student can face difficulty. I base my teaching on that. I also teach Voice Culture, voice modulation, voice exercises suit different needs practicing techniques. I want my students to be performers.

Students can expect to be exposed to a range of preparatory techniques for learning musical skills, including meditation, breathing, and voice culture. The approach is first principles based and emphasis is laid on the acquisition of perfect knowledge of the notes which are then used to build the phrases of Raga music. I have trained as vocalist in the Guru-Disciple tradition of Hindustani classical music. I have taught performed, and researched singing, and published in academic journal (Problems of Music Pedagogy, 2019). I have been adjunct faculty at Azim Premji University, Bangalore (Understanding the World Through Music), National School of Drama, Bangalore chapter (Voice and Speech), and an adviser at the Centre for Public Understanding of Science, Bangalore, India. As cofounder at Osage, I have engaged in directing theatrical productions with children and young adults and actively promoting Osage on Music, a channel on YouTube.

I am an Engineer by profession and also a Musician by passion. I am available to teach music to kids from my home or online. I am a certified Carnatic classical singer and also completed Junior in Music board exams and also pursuing my Learning to complete MA in music. SHRUTHI CULTURAL CENTRE FOR ARTS was started to promote arts. We provide training in categories such as veena and vocal for levels such as beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Hobby classes are also conducted. Students who are interested in exams conducted by the music education board can also enrol for training. Course will be according to govt syllabus.
