Students can expect to be exposed to a range of preparatory techniques for learning musical skills, including meditation, breathing, and voice culture.

The approach is first principles based and emphasis is laid on the acquisition of perfect knowledge of the notes which are then used to build the phrases of Raga music.

I have trained as vocalist in the Guru-Disciple tradition of Hindustani classical music. I have taught performed, and researched singing, and published in academic journal (Problems of Music Pedagogy, 2019).

I have been adjunct faculty at Azim Premji University, Bangalore (Understanding the World Through Music), National School of Drama, Bangalore chapter (Voice and Speech), and an adviser at the Centre for Public Understanding of Science, Bangalore, India.

As cofounder at Osage, I have engaged in directing theatrical productions with children and young adults and actively promoting Osage on Music, a channel on YouTube.
