I have been teaching guitar since 2012 to beginners/intermediate comprising of working professionals, children around 8-16 years of age and people who thought they were too old to learn guitar(my favorite people) Why should we work together? Simple, as a beginner in 2004/05, I struggled a lot while learning guitar as like most, I was not a natural or genius. I discovered even the smallest of things by practicing very hard and also made a lot of mistakes. So, I have been there, struggled and eventually achieved. My mission is to save beginners from the mistakes I made and make the learning process fun, smooth, inspiring. My sessions are to the point and crisp. I make the concepts easy to apply and take action on quickly. My focus will be on basics for the first six months as these will be the skills that will remain with you for a lifetime even if you do not play guitar post that!!! Learning methodology revolves around the quote"It’s a sum of small actions and choices students make from day to day that most people aren’t willing to take", basically FOCUSED practice, making sure students know what and how to practice post class. The ultimate objective is to understand the instrument, its sound and be independent with it. This implies being able to figure out stuff on your own without being dependent on the internet and other sources.

I am a violinist. I began to play violin at the age of 11 under the tutilage of my father. Later, I learnt from renowned violinist Vid. H K Venkatram and then from Vid Nalina Mohan. I have performed at the Chowdaiah memorial hall in a 100 musicians ensemble organized by the KCMC trust. It is my passion to teach, especially this wonderful instrument and in turn, become a means for continuing the rich heritage of Carnatic music.
