You definitely need a teacher because the all the stuff on the internet is not correct and as a beginner you will not be able to differentiate between the correct and wrong ways of doing certain things.

Practice random finger style practices..on..1st to 6th string... n... google some initial chords.. n petterns..to follow it n learn it.

I will say, first learn the basic major and minor chords in open position for Cmaj/Amin scales which r Cmaj, Dmin,Emin,Fmaj,Gmaj,Amin and practice one 8 beat strumming pattern which is.
