I am an accredited artist (Bhajan and Rabindrasangeet) in ALL INDIA RADIO Hyderabad since 2008. I took my formal North Indian classical (vocal) training for more than 20 years. I started learning at the age of 7 under the tutelage of Smt. Maya Bandopadhyay (disciple of Chinmoy Lahiri) and also learning from Smt. Sudeshna Gupta. I also took training in Nazrulgeeti from Smt,. Shanta Biswas (AIR artist) and also from renowned Nazrulgeeti artist Smt. Purabi Dutta. I learnt Rabindrasangeet from my mother (disciple of Smt. Sumitra Sen).
