I started dancing when I was two years old for one reason only- because my sister was a dancer and I wanted to do everything she did. When I turned four, I started competing and from that moment on I absolutely loved everything about dance. Throughout my dance career, I had ups and downs in regards to placing at competitions. but winning was not the important part of dance to me as I got older. One of the most important lessons being a dancer has taught me is that if you worked hard, practiced hard, and gave it your all, the satisfaction of performing at the best of your ability is more valuable than any number of first place trophies.

I am Kimmi Garg from Ludhiana, Punjab. I completed my Education in B com commerce and Chartered Accountancy . I have always been passionate for Dancing and So !!!!! I started training over 8 years ago in Zumbafitness, Bhangra, Salsa, Bachata , Latin fusion at ecstasy dance studio. I am a certified Zumbafitness instructor and Mat Pilates + yoga Instructor .I worked as a principle dancer, choreographer & senior faculty. After spending most of my time being a Latino I got into commercial & street styles about 4 years ago. I dove into choreography & teaching & fitness . My main focus in choreography is commercial dance & performance based styles like heels as well as jazz and latin. I have been training from Danceworx Delhi & Shiamak Davar for bolly sass, hip hop,Semi Classical , Street jazz /funk & developing my own movement in both commercial jazz & heels choreography. That is an ongoing process of course. Apart from my usual training, I'm currently also training in strength building & body anatomy, functional training & hip hop. I strongly believe in holistic training (of the mind, body & soul) and focus a lot on connection & self awareness in my teaching. My teaching is heavily influenced by various body work forms like dance foundation technique, flexibility training etc and also the things I am learning on a daily basis.
