Performed for various festivals and programs organized by Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. Performed in Sirshi Festival organized by Sangeet Natak Academy. I have been learning Bharatanatyam since the age of six in chennai and my guru is Guru Krishnamurthy, a renowned Bharatanatyam teacher and a disciple of the legendary Rukmini Devi Arundale, the founder of Kalakshetra Foundation. This rigorous training has provided me with a strong foundation in the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam, emphasizing technique, discipline, expression (abhinaya), rhythm (tala), and traditional repertoire. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from REVA University, where I further developed my knowledge of dance theory, choreography, performance, and pedagogy alongside practical training. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong technical foundation while nurturing creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for the cultural and artistic heritage of Bharatanatyam. I guide students through adavus, mudras, rhythm, abhinaya, and performance techniques, adapting lessons to suit different age groups and skill levels.
