There is nothing like power yoga. It is created for marketing purpose. Let it be ashtanga yoga or any variations all yogic practice are done with full concentration to attain perfection.

In traditional yoga the final posture is pleasurable () and in power yoga the final posture is overstretch and painfule.


Normal yoga can be practised by anyone but power yoga can be practised up to a certain age group i.e. up to the age of 30. After 30, there will be changes in human metabolism.


normal yoga is just for your fitness but power yoga is mainly for kundilini activation.
