the only things associated with math is more practice solve more and more questions mainly from ncert books and iits previous year question and also some other engineering exams question .this thing make you time savings and also build up your concepts.

Yes why not....you shall obtain above 90% marrks without coaching.. But for this you can read the all subjects as a life behaviour. For example you read physics book with self then a topic chosen by you, and you read that topic.. But it is not necessaryothay you remember that topic always then for it...

How can one do well in class 11 and 12 (CBSE) without coaching?
Without coaching you have to ref NCERT books. Go through mathematical and science concepts first, learn the formulae and then go for attmpting different MCQ's. By having sufficient practise you will gain confidenece. Best Luck
