Capacitive reactance (symbol XC) is a measure of a capacitor's opposition to. AC (alternating current). The capacitive reactance X C equals the reciprocal of the product of 2?, the frequency of the current, and the capacitance of that part of the circuit, simply X C = 1/(2?fC). Capacitive reactance...

Capacitive reactance (symbol XC) is a measure of a capacitor's opposition to. AC (alternating current). Like resistance it is measured in ohms, but. reactance is more complex than resistance because its value depends on the. frequency (f) of the electrical signal passing through the capacitor as well...

In an AC circuit in which the applied voltage signal is continually changing from a positive to a negative polarity at a rate determined by the frequency of the supply, as in the case of a sine wave voltage, for example, the capacitor is either being charged or discharged on a continuous basis at a rate determined by the supply frequency. As the capacitor charges or discharges, a current flows through it which is restricted by the internal resistance of the capacitor. This internal resistance is commonly known as Capacitive Reactance. it is inversely proportional to the angular frequency and the capacitance and is due to the presence of capacitance in an alternating-current circuit. its S.I. unit is in Ohms. read less

I was enrolled to a coaching for 11th and 12th standard. Due to my low performance in JEE advanced I want to give 1 more year to prep. I have all the study material. I am planning to just solve that and join test series. But the problem is how to get my doubts cleared? And will this strategy work?
you can look out for online tutors who can clear your doubts. Also there are many online forums available that can help you with the same. Look out for tricks that are available on Youtube. you can also opt for online test series.
