first you should know all the basic concepts and practise it . and watch youtube videos which is related to topics. it is more than enough to get a decent score. And also refer the old Model Question Papers.

If you are thoroughly convinced that you are self-driven and highly motivated,the best strategy to be adopted while studying any subject is to initially clubbing the related topics and go ahead with them in sequence. Chemistry would be no exception.3 streams Physical, inorganic and organic chemistry can better be studied by going through each and every chapter of a single stream and completing it before proceeding for the next stream. Further, it is better to study chemical kinetics and catalysis before proceeding for organic chemistry as it would be helpful for getting a clear picture for reaction mechanisms. read less

First find out a standard book for you. Then go through the book in a systematic way. Point out the concept and then explain all the phenomenon with the help of the concept . If you start with the organic chemistry then try to raise the question why this reaction is taking place? What is the driving force? If possible try to understand the mechanism of some important reaction , this will explain many questions about the reaction . Practise all the questions in exercise. Revise the topics in every month. For Physical chemistry , study all the laws and formulas carefully . Practise numerical problems in the exercise . For Inorganic chemistry , grow concepts in chapters like coordination compound , periodic table etc . For metallurgy, s, p,d and f block elements you to selectively choose some portions. For doubts you have to clarify it from school teacher and internet . read less
