Since refractive index of lens is less than refractive index of surroundings, it will behave as a convex lens.

Concave lens is immersed in medium having refractive index greater than the refractive index of the material of the lens therefore it will be have such converging lens .

The lens behaves as convex. The reason is when the refractive index of a medium is more than concave lens then the nature of the lens changes to Convex from concave.

Since refractive index of lens < refractive index of surrounding It behaves like converging lens.

concave lens will change into convex lens

Professional theoretical physicist

from this problem we may knoq that the refractive index of the given lens is less than the refractive index of surroundings, so it will behave as a convex lens.
Comments

As the refractive index of the medium =1.65 is more than that of a concave lens =1.5 it's nature will change and lens will become a convex lens
