As far as Speaking practice of any language is concerned, i feel the teacher can only guide the students and then its the students' responsibility to act on those guidelines in order to achieve perfection. That only happens through regular practice. But if you ask me, reading stories and watching movies is the tools that i recommend gradually according to the level of the student.
