I studied Spanish for 4 years at university in the US. As part of my studies, I spent months in Costa Rica and 6 months in Spain, living with native host families who did not speak English and learned about their culture, dance, and food. After graduating, I worked for 2 years teaching in Colombia in South America and 1 year in Dominican Republic (a small country near Cuba in the Caribbean). I am passionate about the Spanish language as well as about teaching, so I'd love to combine these two interests!
