I teach Piano and Keyboard and have around 2 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about helping students develop a strong foundation in music while making the learning process enjoyable and comfortable. I teach students of different age groups and backgrounds, including beginners who may have little or no previous experience with Piano or Keyboard. I have completed Trinity College London Grade 5 certification in Piano/Keyboard, which has helped me develop a strong foundation in both practical performance and music theory. My training has given me a structured understanding of music and has helped me guide students through both the technical and creative aspects of learning an instrument. My teaching experience has been very rewarding because I get to work with students who have different musical interests, abilities, and goals. I enjoy helping beginners become comfortable with their instrument and gradually building their confidence. Whether a student wants to learn as a hobby, develop their playing skills, or progress towards more advanced levels, I try to make the learning experience supportive and motivating. I follow a structured, simple, and step-by-step teaching approach. I begin with the basics and make sure students understand important fundamentals before moving towards more advanced concepts. Along with practical keyboard skills, I also introduce music theory so that students understand what they are playing rather than simply learning pieces by repetition. My classes focus on developing several aspects of musical learning, including technique, rhythm, coordination, music reading, theory, and overall performance. I encourage students to practise regularly and gradually become more comfortable playing independently. I also use examples and demonstrations to make concepts easier to understand and help students connect theory with practical playing. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's learning pace, goals, age, and individual needs. Some students may need more time with the basics, while others may be ready to progress faster. I therefore make sure that lessons are flexible while still following a clear structure. My aim is to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I currently offer online Piano and Keyboard classes and focus on making each session engaging and easy to follow. My goal is to help students build a strong musical foundation, improve their playing skills, and gain confidence in their performance. Most importantly, I want students to enjoy learning music while developing skills that they can continue to build over time.

I am passionate about Classical music. I have completed my Bachelor's in music and Engineering. I have eight years of experience teaching music. I have participated in many classical music programmes and attended Mahotsav. I want to share my passion for music with people and make them understand true art. I was always interested in classical music right from childhood. I started getting trained and participated in classical music programmes and Mohotasavs in Pune. My classes are conducted online and offline, in groups and individually, according to the requirements and comfort of the students. My classes are open to all age groups and anyone willing to learn the art form. My classes are meticulously designed to cater to all the students. The course is divided into three stages, intermediate, basic and advanced levels of Hindustani music. After every class, I assign small tasks for the students to practice at home. I also make them rehearse to observe their growth. The notes for the theoretical portion are provided to the students. My classes are highly interactive. I encourage my students to discuss and share their opinions.

I teach Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Vocal Music, and Yoga, and my journey as a teacher spans several decades. I began teaching Bharatanatyam in 1984 and have continued nurturing students in this classical art form for over 40 years. Later, I expanded my teaching to Carnatic vocal music, in which I now have 25 years of experience, and Yoga, where I have been training students for the past 18 years. My passion has always been to help students discover discipline, grace, confidence, and inner balance through these traditional art forms. My foundation in Bharatanatyam comes from a comprehensive 6-year Diploma program completed at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government College of Music and Dance, Vijayawada, under the guidance of Smt. Vasireddy Kanakadurga Garu. I also hold a Senior Diploma in Carnatic Music (Vocal) from Bangiya Sangeeta Parishad, Kolkata. My training in Yoga began in 2007 at the renowned Bihar School of Yoga, Munger and Rikhia Peeth, where I also completed a Kriya Yoga course. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nagarjuna University. Over the years, I have had the honour of presenting several memorable performances. One of the highlights of my journey was a special Bharatanatyam performance before His Excellency, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Krishna Kanth, in 1990, which received great appreciation. My students have also performed before Governor Sri Surjeet Singh Barnala in 2004. Their achievements and the recognition they have received reflect not only their talent but also the training and guidance they received. Teaching has allowed me to mentor hundreds of students who have gone on to win competitions, perform on prestigious stages, and establish themselves as confident artists. Many of them have received awards and felicitations from various cultural organizations. Their progress has always been the most rewarding aspect of my career. I have also been honoured by several institutions for my contribution as a teacher, choreographer, and Yoga instructor. I conduct both online and offline classes, depending on the learners’ requirements. My classes are structured, progressive, and interactive. Whether a student is a beginner or an advanced learner, I make sure each session is suited to their pace and level. I focus on building strong fundamentals, enhancing practical skills, and ensuring that students understand the theoretical aspects of the art forms as well. My teaching method includes the use of PPTs, videos, animations, whiteboards, and audio–video learning materials to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I also provide notes, reference books, assignments, tests, and homework, ensuring continuous learning and improvement. Many of my students appear for exams conducted by universities and examination boards, and I assist them in preparing thoroughly. With every class, my aim is to inspire students to appreciate the depth of Indian classical arts and to help them grow as disciplined performers, knowledgeable learners, and confident individuals. My long teaching journey has taught me that learning these art forms is not just about skill—it is about character, dedication, and lifelong passion.
