I have been teaching Kuchipudi and Garba for 5 years. We have regular batches running in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills. I teach Vempati style Kuchipudi. Along with practicals, I also teach theory and abhinaya as well. We have an academy named Raas Tarang which is the first Garba Academy in Hyderabad that offers year-round garba courses.

I'm very passionate about dance in various categories. Especially Kathak dance and tabla. I did a lot of performances and workshops met good gurus taught high-profile people from Tollywood also.

I am a professional classical dancer with experience performing in India and abroad. I have learnt Mohiniyattam under Smt Gopika Varma and under Padmasri Kalamandalam Kshemavathy. I have also been pursuing Kathak for three years. I have written articles and edited a book on Dance in India, titled, 'Scripting Dance in Contemporary India' and have a strong grounding in the theory and philosophy of dance as well. I earned my PhD in Dance and Semiotics from IIT Bombay. I have started an institute, SADHAKA, in Banjara Hills Hyderabad, chiefly to promote the beautiful and graceful dance of Mohiniyattam. My goal is to groom and present a group of Mohinis in Hyderabad, who can practice and perform the dance. I encourage all, especially girls and women of all ages, who have an interest in Indian dance, to try Mohiniyattam, one of the most feminine, graceful and expressive dances. It is not just a physical activity, but a complete, holistic discipline, which has the potential to transform you into a beautiful being over time.

I am a Kathak teacher/Digital artist/Interior desugner. I have been persuing dance for 2 years and have a degree in kathak. My key skills are, teaching, creating and understanding.
