This may look like a common and generic questions. But still I want to know whether I have to buy an electric guitar or a acoustic guitar?

If you're learning Guitar for very first time, always buy a good acoustic guitar. Cause acoustic guitar's fret board and action is a bit rough and high than an electric guitar. The world would be more harmonious if only there were more musicians.

If you're a beginner yes it is advised to start with an acoustic. You can get clean sound on an electric as well but I would suggest you buy an electric when you are good at playing and spending all that money becomes worth it.
