This may look like a common and generic questions. But still I want to know whether I have to buy an electric guitar or a acoustic guitar?

The world would be more harmonious if only there were more musicians.

If you're a beginner yes it is advised to start with an acoustic. You can get clean sound on an electric as well but I would suggest you buy an electric when you are good at playing and spending all that money becomes worth it.

Should you loosen guitar strings when storing?
Yes , but only the 4th 5th and 6th string If you don't loose this string then your neck could be bend dur to its pressure

What are some good songs to learn on the guitar for beginners?
I think as a begginer one should go for songs in which basic chords are used these are ; Tum Hi, Mera Mann Kehne Lga, Saddi Gli, Pani Da Rang, Humsafar, Nazm Nazm, Nothing Else Matter and many more.
