The cost of the guitar depends upon the quality of the wood, quality workmanship, and the precised accurate Fret board. The costly guitar will have better sound than the low cost guitar. The difference is just the quality of sound. As well the comfortability.

The quality of the wood, the workmanship, precision would be different. Hence the sound would also be very different. This is considering both the guitars look alike and are the same size as well.
