IdentityI am a guitar educator working primarily in one-to-one settings with students who value clarity, structure, and long-term learning.
My role is not to push students harder or promise fast results. Instead, I observe how each student approaches learning and adapt the pace, material, and method accordingly. This includes observing posture, physical tension, picking and fretting habits, attention patterns, and how a student responds to difficulty or confusion.
I work with:
- Beginners who want a clear and calm foundation
- Returning players who feel stuck or disconnected
- Intermediate learners who want deeper understanding rather than more information
My teaching is sound-first and understanding-based. Music is approached through listening, rhythm, harmony, and practical application on the guitar, not memorization or imitation alone.
I use simple non-musical language to explain learning. Teaching remains grounded in music and observation.
Students who work well with me are comfortable with:
- A measured pace
- Clear expectations
- Depth over speed
- Guidance rather than constant validation
I am selective about who I take on and may decline when expectations are misaligned. This helps maintain a stable and respectful learning environment for both teacher and student.
