In every key, the 1st, 4th and 5th notes will be Majors and 2nd, 3rd & 6th notes will be minors, 7th will be diminished. For Eg. In the key of A major, the chords will be "A (1) - Bm (2) - C#m (3) - D (4) - E (5) - F#m (6) - G#dim (7)"
