As a professional I'll practice for around 3-4 hours per day.

For a beginner.. make sure to play taking breaks so you dont injure your fingers. Once you get past that you can slowly increase your practise hours. One or two hours a day for beginners. the next level should be at around 3-4 hours.. then as time permits! To answer the question... at least once a day...

To answer the question... at least once a day for at least 20 mins should help improve finger and muscle memory! read less
