I teach freestyle and staff notations in keyboard and guitar from absolute beginner to intermediate.

Learn and master with Steve krenz is most preferable for guitar.So books are available for guitar, but you have a teacher in beginner

Learning guitar from the book is bit difficult but still you can get - gibson legacy edition, Guitar for dummies, music theory 101 is very good for theories.
