avoid this,

One must go for a limited no. of books.

It’s never about the no. of books you complete, it’s about how deep you get into each and every book you possess.

One reading is never enough. You have to repetitively study the same books. Over and over again.

This point is crucial not only for NTSE, but for any exam.

So, I’d suggest you keep reading NCERT textbooks.

Plus, for phase-1, also become thorough with your State Board Social Science book, as phase-1 is conducted by state boards.
Have a printout of the actual syllabus.

Don’t do a single thing less, and certainly not a single thing more.
Never-ever care how much some other person has prepared.

Just keep doing your stuff. The key:

Practice MAT regularly. Speed, Analysis, Reasoning.

Make Social Science very solid. For that, all you need is repetitive study.
Have confidence in your material.

Books, Notes, School/Coaching Classes & Notes.
Also, have a proper strategy and revision plan.
Solve NTSE practice papers/ past papers regularly.

A real time practice is very crucial. If you don’t do this, then on the last day time will always seem to run out; especially in MAT.
That’s pretty much it!

Just One More Thing: It really doesn’t matter whether you clear this exam or not, but it feels good to know you’ve really tried.
