The resultant force can be calculated by Parallelogram law of vectors. F = root of(8square+ 6square) = 10N From Newton's second law F = ma So acceleration a = F/m = 10/5 = 2 m/s2

Resultant force is 10N due to which acceleration get 2m/sq

Net force Fsq=8sq+6sqB FSQ=100Nand henceF=10Na Accleration a=F/m=10/5=2meter/sec sq

Resultant force by pythogoras theoram => √(8²+6²) =√(64+36) = √100 =10 N Magnitude of acceleration = F/m = 10 N / 5 Kg = 2 m/s² Direction of acceleration = tan inverse(6/8) = 36.9º inclined with the direction of the force of 8N

The resultaat force is 10N by triangle law of forces,and bt f=ma the accln is 10=5×a ,which gives a=2 m/sec^2

If force is acting on a moving body perpendicular to the direction of motion, then what will be its effect on the speed and direction of the body?
The magnitude of velocity shall decrease and direction shall be same till it comes to rest, afterwards it shall move in direction of force with acceleration due to the applied force.
