I am Mridangam artist in Karnataka. He born in Kolar on 30th May 1987. I have completed his master degree MSW in the year 2010. Bhanuprakash started learning Mridangam with my father at the age of eight. Later i continued to learn Mridangam and other percussion with the eminent artist Vidwan S.V Giridhar since 2005. I have been playing Mridangam and other percussion instruments from the year 2000. I have completed my Vidwath examination (first rank) in the year 2017. Blessings from my parents and Guru Vidwan S.V Giridhar, i started accompaning Mrudangam and other percussion instruments in many parts of Karnataka and other states. I am also ‘B’ high graded artist from All India Radio, Bangalore. I am accomapanied with different instruments for the eminent artist like Vidushi A. Kanyakumari, Vidwan Naiveli Santhana Gopalan etc.

I began learning light classical music in the Karnataka tradition at an early age from Smt. Jayashree Kadlabalu of Bellary. My learning in Hindustani vocal and bansuri music began under the care and guidance of Ustad Sheikh Hannumiya of Bhalki, a disciple of 'Ekalavya' Ustad Dr. Ghulam Rasool of Parbhani who belonged to the Agra-Gwalior tradition. I am currently pursuing advanced study in Hindustani vocal music from the Pandit Dr. Nagaraj Rao Havaldar of Bangalore, a disciple of Pandit Madhava Gudi, who is himself a prime disciple of the Kirana scion Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. Dr. Havaldar is also a disciple of Pandit Panchakshari Swami Mattigatti, a senior disciple of Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. I have received additional training and guidance from the late Pandit Madhava Gudi and the renowned London based composer and Dhrupadiya of the Jaipur tradition, Pandit Vishwaprakash I have performed Bansuri and Vocal music at several concerts in India and the UK, and has been teaching music since the past 20 years.
