I am a guitar teacher having 3 years experience in teaching Western Staff notation for acoustic guitar. I have also taught Indian film music on guitar. I can help students learn how to play by ear and understand the theory behind each song. This is an important way to learn music besides doing your technical practice of scales, arpeggios, chord progressions and practicing different Western Guitar Pieces. I will give you specific print outs of the lessons that I teach you - be it the chords of a song lyrics that you can learn to sing and play, or the tablature notes of a song that you want to learn. I will encourage you to play songs along with me so that you get a hold on improving your rhythm sense and accompaniment skills. I will help you appreciate music and even use music as a tool for not only your creative satisfaction but to evolve as a better human being. Before choosing to becoming a full time music teacher I worked at BPOs (Call Centers) including Mphasis Limited at Bagmane Tech Park, Mahadevpura, Bangalore; before that I was at Unisys Global Services India Pvt Limited at Whitefield (now the company is relocated to some other place); and prior to that I worked at Convergys (now it is renamed as Concentrix!). Besides this I am a song write and I write songs on Consciousness and Reality and human evolution - Rock and Carnatic Genre. I help students be creative and help them write their own simple songs and even make a little tune for them too.
