At the age of 13 I bought my first acoustic guitar and haven't started to learn properly until I experienced some of the great musicians playing on the records. Later I practiced all the basic things on my very first guitar(worst guitar, coz I don't know how to select a guitar at the age of 13). Later I started listening to loads and loads of music, which helped me a lot both personally as well as learning new skills. As the days passed I upgraded to heavy gauge electric guitars and some amps. And right now I'm learning some untimed musical notations which is very very tough to practice, but it's cool.
