Floyd is currently based at BCMC Layout, Bangalore. The academy was founded in 2013 by Floyd Santimano. He moved to Belguam, Karnataka for engineering studies and won several awards at university level. His band named Forbidden won the Battle of the Bands in Goa in 2003. He has shared the stage with several international artists including Grammy Award winner George Brookes, American jazz saxophonist, Indian national award winner Lucky Ali to name a few. In 2017, He was rated as the number 1 artist in India for electronic music, on reverbantion.com. He stood at the number 1 spot for the whole year. He now leads his band called Floyd Santimano Band. Currently he is in London, UK pursuing musical further musical endeavours. He lived in Bangalore for 10 years and as a gesture of giving back he formed the Floyd Music Academy.

Floyd Music Academy is highly equipped, has several branches in Bangalore and in Goa. Several courses are taught including Piano, Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Violin, Vocals and Tabla.

Look for a teacher to come home to teach or look for an online teacher.

If you are looking for someone to teach at your home, you should be willing to pay the teacher a little more for their traveling convience, etc. And if you are planning to learn online you will need to have access to the internet with a decent speed. Either ways, it will cost a little extra than what you would ideally pay by going to an institute or the teacher's place. But you will be saving on the travelling time. Though it is a good idea to start with music at an early age, we need to consider that the vocal chords are still developing and hence only a light singing is recommended. Usually songs without a wide range. For any more details you can contact me.

According to your situation, it is best you find yourself a good trainer. Since you are working, you should be willing to pay as good trainers don't come cheap. Is Guitar basics are difficult to learn??

Yes. It could be difficult to learn Guitar basics. But so is learning Spanish. Or even learning Hindi. But remember basics form the bottom of the pyramid upon which you have to build your guitar playing. The broader your base the bigger a pyramid you shall build. :)

Will an expensive guitar have better acoustics than cheaper one?

Yes. For example, expensive acoustic guitars are made from better quality of wood compared to the cheaper guitars.

If you are looking for someone to teach at your home, you should be willing to pay the teacher a little more for their traveling convience, etc. And if you are planning to learn online you will need to have access to the internet with a decent speed. Either ways, it will cost a little extra than what you would ideally pay by going to an institute or the teacher's place. But you will be saving on the travelling time.
