I want to start Singing classes for my daughter. She is 7 years old. What is the recommended age any kids to start singing so that they can grasp quickly?

Yes, you can start. Its good to start at 7 if they are intrested, and yes obviously they can easily grasp. The only thing is required that they should have a singing voice. Many artists started at the age of 6 too.

There is no age limit but yes ideal age to start classical music is 5 to 10 years. I have seen some students of 5 years singing a song nicely, also their grasping capacity is good. So, its all about interest. If your kid has interest in music n if he/she is 5+ then you can easily join music classes....

And my personal experience is if we join music classes and start singing at the age of 5 to 10 then wecan grasp basics of singing easily as compared to older people. A kid can start basics of singing as early as possible. It would be very easy for her to grasp the 'sur' quickly. Her age is perfect for starting singing. Firstly she should exercise the sargams daily so that she can catch the notes quickly, this grasping music will be very easy for her.

Kids as young as 4 years old can be exposed to music and taught music. But they ll learn to grasp the concept and sing by 5 1/2 years. At 7 she can easily start music classes.
