I am a postgraduate in Food Technology and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nutrition. I have a strong academic background in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, and Dietetics. I have experience teaching and guiding students in nutrition concepts, diet therapy, food chemistry, and research methods. I am writing to ask you to consider an addition to your faculty. As a doctorate of food science and technology (7.92/10 ogpa), I am applying to express my strong interest in working as with enthusiasm for this opportunity. I’m returning to work after taking a career break, with experience of 2 years as assistant professor (food science and technology) in a reputed university, where my focus was on teaching and research. I also want to bring in your kind notice that I was have supervised one master (m.Sc. Food science & technology) student for her research work. Specific research areas I have focused on during my phd. Research work was development and evaluation of complementary foods based on corn and peanut. I have attended several conferences and seminars. I have several research and review paper published in my name in various national and international journal. Furthermore, I have also published one chapter in a bio- processing of foods book (chapter- 21). Also have a good knowledge of ms office. I did one month training from jammu and kashmir milk producer co-operative limited where I experienced and learnt about several quality test and product manufacturing. Moreover, I have completed two month training conducted under agri-clinics and agri-business centers schemes of government of india. In addition I hold my bachelor and master of science degree in agriculture with an aggregate of 71.4% in bachelor’s and 8.03/10 ogpa in master’s. I acquired my master’s selection by clearing the all india level entrance examination conducted by icar (indian council of agricultural research) with rank of 251. My field of specialization at masters was post harvest technology of horticultural crops and my m sc. Research work was on effect of plant extracts and packaging on shelf life of guava (psidium guajava l.)”. I have enjoyed my time at islamic university of science and technology working as assistant professor, and am grateful for excellent research and teaching experience opportunities offered. I am now seeking an equally stimulating role that enable me to start again through hand- on teaching and research activities.

Life is in itself a celebration and as you move miles the journey itself is celebrated.My odyssey in the planet of food started with the sheer happiness with which my mother would prepare food, later beauty of varied cuisines inspired me and I didnâ??t realised when I became a passionate amateur cook. Few noble applauds and some sore judgement forced me to learn the trait in cultured way from the experts and that brought; culinary skills and the art of cooking, offering know how, technicality, variety, which boosted me to reincarnate in the name of chef.Palate, taste, ingredients, equipment, health, presentation, became indispensable part of my serving.Marching on I didnâ??t remember when my humble kitchen became a laboratory, boutique, oasis, temple all in one. Always waiting for the smile that every single gourmet would bring. In summary I have embarked on a never ending food journey, where in awe of all the traits and persons I myself became a vehicle to profess learningâ??s and experiences on food & cooking. I guess itâ??s because of sharing and keeping an open window for new fresh taste.Board my ship on this voyage of food and sail through rewarding heaps of knowledge, diversity, skills.
