By passion I am a KATHAK classical dancer with over 23 years of learning and practice. Completed Visharad from Bhatkhande University, Lucknow and have performed in multiple stage shows. Currently I take dance classes for kids and adults in GM Palya, CV Raman Nagar and look forward to starting my next batch soon. As a part of training, I also prepare and encourage students to take up exams that happen every year and my school is affiliated to Rabindra Bharati University. By profession I am an engineer and pursued MBA; and I work as an AVP in one of the renowned reinsurance companies in Bangalore. Also I have an inclination towards choreography. So, I can also help with choreography on particular songs (bollywood/semi classical/classical) on need basis.

I've spent almost the last 20 years learning this incredible art form, and I also have a heap of experience teaching and educating about it. Apart from English, I’m also well versed in Tamil and Hindi. I have taken part in a number of Sabhas, Natyanjalis, government-sponsored events, and corporate gatherings over the years. I'm also the recipient of various titles and awards from different dance foundations over the years which include, “NRITHYA ARADHIKA”, “NRITHYA KALA VIDUSHI”, “OJASWI”, “NRITHYA NIRANJANA” and “BHARATA KALAMANI”. Despite the fact that I am a working professional, my passion for the art form has inspired me to keep learning and sharing what I know.
