Hi Aayushi,
Salesforce is the world's no1 Customer relationship management(CRM) tool which is used to manage all your happy customers. It may be an industry we talk about, they have their sales, services and marketing teams, and salesforce is the best platform to handle all those.
Salesforce originated from the cloud computing concept where all your data are stored in the cloud. The company don't have to worry about the setup of hardware, software and their infrastructure configuration anymore. It would help if you had useful internet and a laptop/desktop/ mobile to open a browser and log in to Salesforce org, and you can configure and customise your complete project in that.
I hope the answer helped you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.

Hi Prafulla,
Since I have 6+years experience working as a business analyst, here are the fee things you need to know for a BA Related job:
1. Make sure you are aware of a particular industry, i.e. healthcare, insurance, telecommunications etc
2. Make sure you are aware of a platform, i.e. Salesforce, Vlocity etc
3.you are required to interact with clients and collect requirements from them; you will have to analyse them and groom them.
4. You should know any ticketing tool, i.e. JIRA or service now, where you would be creating stories/requirements received from clients.
These are the basic requirements for a BA role.
I hope my answer helped you.

I would suggest you learn Salesforce Administrator first and then try learning sales cloud and service cloud. Since you already have an MBA background, it would be easy for you to work as a Salesforce manager in any of the company. But be sure you have the certification for Salesforce admin, sales and service cloud.
