As a Salesforce Administrator instructor, I will teach learners how to effectively manage, configure, and optimize Salesforce to support business operations. The course will focus on both foundational knowledge and hands-on practical skills required to become a successful Salesforce Administrator and prepare for the Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) exam.
Students will begin by learning Salesforce fundamentals, including understanding the Salesforce ecosystem, navigating the Lightning interface, and managing user access. They will explore security and data management, mastering profiles, roles, permission sets, data import/export, validation rules, and duplicate management to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
Next, I will teach automation tools, helping students build workflows, approval processes, and flows to streamline business processes. Learners will gain a solid understanding of object and field customization, including creating custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and Lightning apps to tailor Salesforce to specific business needs.
The curriculum will also cover reporting and dashboards, teaching learners how to create meaningful reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, students will explore the key features of Sales and Service Cloud, including managing leads, opportunities, cases, and solutions.
Throughout the course, learners will complete real-world projects and scenario-based exercises, applying their skills to solve business challenges—such as automating approval workflows, designing secure data-sharing models, and building dynamic dashboards. Each session will combine theory, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in Salesforce Developer Orgs or Trailhead playgrounds.
To support certification and career readiness, I will include mock tests, quizzes, and interview preparation sessions. Learners will gain not only technical skills but also the confidence to implement and maintain Salesforce solutions in real-world environments.
By the end of the program, students will be equipped to:
-
Configure and manage Salesforce environments effectively.
-
Design secure, automated, and efficient business processes.
-
Generate insightful reports and dashboards.
-
Support organizations as competent, job-ready Salesforce Administrators.
